Instructions

Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to us. These instructions will ensure we have everything required so your paper can move through peer review, production and publication smoothly. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as doing so will ensure your paper matches what is required. The following are the journal’s requirements.

Structure

Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page, abstract, keywords, main text introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion and recommendations for implications, limitations and suggestions for future research, acknowledgments, declaration of interest statement, references, and appendices.

The manuscript should contain an unstructured abstract of 250 words and there should be no more than 6 keywords.

For English manuscripts, text should be double-spaced with 12-point Times New Roman. For Khmer manuscripts, text should be single-spaced with 11 Khmer OS Siemreap. Both types of manuscripts should be written with 2.54-centimetre margins on all sides.

Manuscript title, headings, and sub-headings should be bold, left aligned, and in sentence case.

The title page of the manuscript should include all authors, their full name, and their affiliation. One author will need to be identified as the corresponding author with an email address.

Word templates are available for this journal. Please save the template to your hard drive, ready for use.

Word limits

A typical paper for this journal should not exceed 9000 words for manuscripts written in English and 30 pages for manuscripts written in Khmer.

Please include a word count for English manuscripts and a page count for Khmer munuscripts.

Style guidelines

Please use British (-ise) spelling style consistently throughout your manuscript.

Please use single quotation marks, except where ‘a quotation is “within” a quotation’.

Please note that long quotations should be indented without quotation marks.

The translation of the abstract

Author(s) are welcome to provide a translation of their English abstract into Khmer language.

The Khmer abstract should be provided on acceptance of the article. We do not require the title or keywords to be translated.

In-text citation and references

Please use EndNote to prepare your in-text citation and reference list.

The referencing style used in this journal is TF-Standard APA.

Tables and figures

Tables should present new information rather than duplicating what is in the text. Readers should be able to interpret the table without reference to the text. Please supply editable files.

Figures should be high quality in one of our preferred file formats: JPEG, PNG, EPS, or PS.
